goodbyes and arrivals

I have never been good at saying 'goodbye.' Most of you probably know that I am one to sneak out of parties or gatherings without saying bye to anyone. Im not really sure why or how this habit formed, I just know that I dont like doing it.

In anycase, goodbye 2009 heyroo 2010. Thank you to all my friends that spent time with me over Christmas Break. I apologize sincerely if I did not see you personally, but rest assured that you are in my thoughts.

Break highlights included:

- Varela Tamale Party (WOW! my younger relatives are getting big)
- Watching AVATAR in 3D, twice!
- Spending time with my Dad (and learning about the stock market)
- Shanny & Marco's Christmas Day Engagement! (congratulations!)
- Clippers game & New Years Bash
- The Princess and The Frog (seriously best movie ever... I mean c'mon... OPRAH singing!)
- Walking with my Mom (shes fast)
- Brookes Surprise Birthday Dance Party
- Watching the sunset over the pacific (for the first time in far too long)
- Visiting Darren & Laura in Palm Desert (hes rockin the desert just like michael jackson did)
- Quality time with old & new friends & family

Holy smokes that month at home just flew by!
Now that I am back in Texas for the spring, I have a bunch to look forward to:

- Trombone in Symphonic Band (I landed the spot in december)
- More involvement with Jazz studies
- More free time to leisure about Texas
- Spring break!
- Wedding of Darren and Laura
- Auditions for multiple summer music programs (Disneyland College Band, National Orchestra Institute)
